My weekend in Autumn

Updated: May 13, 2019

I'm not real sure if it's my age (32 cycles around the sun) or yoga that has made me more appreciative of the simple life. But whatever it is, I feel extremely satisfied and content with my life and my slow weekend.

Yesterday I met up with about 20 other incredible yoga instructors for a rare get together, a chance to enjoy and connect with our yoga community.

Followed by a quiet night at home (I cooked my first Pho 🍲 and usually I'm a pretty shitty cook, this time I nailed it 🙌🏼). Today I was invited to guide a free yoga session at Lululemon at the Canberra Centre and I had about 40 new faces starring back at me.

The round of applause at the end 👏 plus the kind words and effort that these people made to share how they felt after class was so extremely heart warming 💓 and I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity.

I went with the flow and the direction I was being guided to. And now everything feels like it's moving forward nicely. I feel organised, metaphorically the leaves have been cleaned up and I'm ready for winter. Now I can attend to the other priorities that had been put on the back burner. It's a great feeling!
